Welcome to the Finowkanal
The Finowkanal is not only the oldest navigable artificial waterway in Germany, but also takes you through unspoilt nature and past exciting industrial monuments of the past century! In addition, many land-based experiences await young and old captains alike. Travelling along the Finow canale will delight the whole family.
Some of the historic locks are still operated by hand as they were 400 years ago. You should therefore bring enough time to marvel and enjoy. This unique experience of nature and technology will remain unforgettable for young and old alike!
Some of the old locks are currently under construction. Please refer to the information below on which parts of the canal are open.
